Jakarta – PT Jamkrindo continuously encourages its employees to engage in social activities through its Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program. As an example, Jamkrindo mobilized its Jamkrindo Motor Riders (JMR) community, under the management of the Sports and Arts Organizing Body (Baporsi), to conduct a TJSL activity in Kuningan, West Java, on Saturday, March 26, 2022.
During the event, Jamkrindo Motor Riders provided hundreds of tree seedlings to the Lempong Balong ecosystem recovery community group at Mount Ciremai National Park. The symbolic handover of the seedlings was conducted by JMR Chairman M. Rizal Zailani to a representative from the Lempong Balong community group. Additionally, the Cirebon Branch Office carried out donations for orphans in Puncak Village, Cigugur District, Kuningan, West Java.
Director of PT Jamkrindo, Sulis Usdoko, stated that employee involvement in social activities is a real manifestation of the company’s core value of loyalty. By actively engaging in social initiatives, Jamkrindo employees are expected to further enhance their dedication and contribution to society and the nation.
"We strongly support employee involvement in social activities related to the TJSL program. This initiative is expected to foster a workplace culture where employees care about their surroundings while also enhancing motivation and productivity," said Sulis in a press release on Saturday, March 26, 2022.
Furthermore, Sulis emphasized that, apart from facilitating internal company communities in social activities, Jamkrindo also frequently deploys employees to participate directly in community empowerment programs.
For example, at Ciletuh Geopark in Sukabumi, West Java, Jamkrindo provided opportunities for Certified Internship Student Participants (PMMB) to engage in community empowerment and experiential learning activities to develop social awareness and leadership skills.
One of the main objectives of this experiential learning initiative is to foster social responsibility and strengthen employee involvement in community and MSME empowerment programs.
"As a company primarily focused on MSME development, we are committed to implementing empowerment initiatives that create both economic value and social value simultaneously—also known as Creating Shared Value (CSV)," Sulis added.
Chairman of Baporsi, Yana Suryana, highlighted that the TJSL activity in Kuningan was not the first initiative conducted by JMR. He noted that JMR has actively participated in various TJSL programs, including: Providing assistance to flood victims in Serang, Banten, Distributing social aid in Sukabumi, Delivering basic necessities to communities in Bogor And other social initiatives
"We are very enthusiastic about being entrusted with carrying out social activities that directly benefit the community. In addition to enjoying our passion for touring, these social initiatives provide profound meaning for the entire JMR team, as they incorporate positive contributions to society," Yana stated.
