Jamkrindo Donates Three Ambulances for the People of Surakarta

PT Jamkrindo has provided three ambulances to support health services in the Surakarta, Karanganyar, Sukoharjo, and Merapi regions. The assistance was handed over by PT Jamkrindo President Director, Putrama Wahju Setyawan, to the Chairman of Yayasan Bangun Watak Bangsa, Widyo Darudono, at Bale Rakyat Yayasan Bangun Watak Bangsa, Surakarta, Central Java, on Sunday (October 3, 2021).

Putrama emphasized that the ambulance assistance is part of the company’s commitment to its corporate social responsibility (CSR), particularly in contributing to the improvement of public health services during the ongoing pandemic. He stated that PT Jamkrindo remains dedicated to supporting government programs aimed at accelerating the COVID-19 response through various forms of aid, including the provision of ambulances.

"We hope this assistance can accelerate the mobilization of patients to hospitals, benefiting the community at large and healthcare workers," said Putrama in a press statement on Sunday (October 3, 2021).

In addition to Surakarta, PT Jamkrindo has also provided ambulance assistance in other areas, such as Cirebon, Surabaya, Sragen, and Sukoharjo. The provision of these ambulances has been carried out in collaboration with members of the Indonesia Financial Group (IFG) and UPZ Jamkrindo.

"As of today in 2021, we have provided a total of 7 ambulances to communities," Putrama added.

The symbolic handover ceremony was attended by Aria Bima, Deputy Chair of the Indonesian House of Representatives’ Commission VI, along with several local community leaders, and the Jamkrindo Semarang Regional Office and Solo Branch Office team.
